Damaged, defective, or wrong item

What to do if your fabric arrives flawed or you got the wrong item.

Please inspect your order as soon as it arrives. If something's genuinely wrong, we'll make it right.

If your fabric is defective or you received the wrong color/size:

  1. Email [email protected] with a photo of the issue.

  2. Include the exact yardage affected so we can credit you accurately.

  3. Include your full name, order number, and company name (if applicable).

If approved, we'll send a replacement or store credit.

Time window

Report defects or a wrong item within 30 days of delivery.

After 30 days you may still open a claim, but you'll be responsible for return shipping. Once we receive, inspect, and approve the fabric, we issue your credit.

What counts as a defect (and what doesn't)

Some characteristics are normal and not defects: light shedding for the first few washes, the selvage along each edge (about an inch), and minor flaws at roll ends. See "What's normal" for the full list.

Wholesale note: for wholesale orders we don't accept damage claims below 5% of the order quantity, since minor selvage and roll-end variation is expected and already reflected in wholesale pricing. Full details in the Wholesale section.
