Snuggles™ is our proprietary minky line, available in a range of textures and 200+ colors. Each texture has a different pile and drape, so the right one depends on your project.
Our core Snuggle textures:
Whispy — one of our most popular Snuggles. Super-soft with a medium-light weight and a 15–20mm pile, it's the versatile all-rounder for quilting, throws, garments, and decor. Also comes as Baby Whispy — a lightweight 8mm pile, still super silky with great movement and short enough to work as a quilting backing — and as Mega Whispy, our longest pile at 30mm.
Bella — a silky, medium-weight Snuggle. A brushing technique gives the fibers plenty of texture rather than a flat, smooth finish. A favorite base for our printed designs.
Kodi — our silkiest, softest Snuggle, with a plush 15–20mm pile that feels like faux fur. Medium weight.
Koala — ultra-plush with a distinctive channeled embossing that blends comfort and style. Medium weight.
Luxe — a fairly smooth Snuggle with a brushing technique that creates a subtle texture. Medium weight.
Hudson — richly textured with a gathered, bubbly surface and a naturally weighted drape. Great for weighted blankets and cozy home decor. Heavier weight.
Sharpei — ultra-plush with an elastic blend that creates bouncy "bubbles," so it feels like a hug. 90% polyester / 10% elastic, heavy weight.
Frosted isn't a separate base — it's a two-tone, frosted-tip finish offered across textures (you'll see Frosted Bella, Frosted Koala, Frosted Luxe, and more).
Choosing a texture:
Baby blankets and loveys: easy-to-sew bases like Bella are gentle on skin.
Plush throws and statement pieces: longer, deeper piles like Kodi or Sharpei add softness and drama.
Weighted blankets: Hudson's gathered, weighted drape is purpose-built for it.
Mixed-texture projects: order $4.50 samples of two or three and feel them side by side first.
Most Snuggles are 100% polyester (Sharpei is 90% polyester / 10% elastic), 58–60 inches wide, with pile heights from 8–30mm depending on the texture, machine wash cold gentle, line or air dry. Not sure which to pick? Email [email protected] with your project and we'll recommend a texture.
